Synopsis:
Nagasaki, 1964 – Upon the death of his father, the leader of a yakuza gang, 14-year-old Kikuo is entrusted to a famous kabuki actor. Alongside Shunsuke, the actor’s only son, he decides to devote himself to this traditional theater. For decades, the two young men grow up side by side, from acting school to the most beautiful theaters, amid scandals and glory, brotherhood and betrayal… One of them will become Japan’s greatest master of the art of kabuki.
